Our trip to Casa Hogar de los Niņos leaves an impression on the heart with which nothing else can compete. The children in the orphanage become our best friends in those few, quick days. The bonds created between those children and us shows that we are all tied together.

As soon as you enter the orphanage you instantly forget all of the worries that you had back in the states and put all of your emotions into the trip. The bonds that are formed with the children are incredible, regardless of the language barrier. I can honestly say that there is no place on earth where I am happier than at Casa Hogar.

From the moment you step foot in Casa Hogar de Los Ninos, you are instantly surrounded by the kid's love and infectious laughter. I can't imagine spending my Spring break with anyone other than with these kids! Through children less than half my age, I realized how truly blessed I am and what is really important in life.

This trip is 100% about the children and you understand this the minute you walk into the doors of that orphanage. Being with these children openened my eyes to a world of love and happiness outside of my own life. The friendships formed in that one short week are immortal and every moment of time we spend in Casa Hogar de los Niņos is a blessing from God.
